Assistant Professor—Writing
We seek an assistant professor of writing who is dedicated to the values of diversity, 股本, 和包容. The successful candidate will be able to teach a range of required composition courses and will hold specific interest and expertise in "writing about writing" pedagogies and working with neurodiverse learners. Expertise in assessment, multi-media composition, digital and information literacies, and writing across the curriculum would be valuable.
All assistant professors are active community members in service to their students, 部门, 学校, 和学院. 教师 engage in scholarly work in their fields or in the scholarship of teaching and learning; and continue to pursue professional development in both their discipline and in teaching/learning.

A terminal degree (e.g. Ph.D., Ed.D.) or commensurate experience in the discipline or a related field is highly desirable. Master's degree considered. A working understanding of the nature of specific learning disabilities and teaching experience at the college level are also highly desirable.
